The Importance of Nuance in Software Design

A lot of people get the idea that in a Rails app, all the code you write fits into some particular slot. What's fashionable right now is this slot called services. People say, oh, I know my models are too fat. And so, I'll take some of the stuff from the models and put those in services. But it's way more complex than that.
