i was very conscious that i was the only person in my famiy that was an american born citizen, and the privilege that that holds. For someone who carries the weight of their family on their shoulders, it's something that feels almost selfish to pursue. I went to college for a musical theatre. My plan was move back to saint minard, you know, take my old theatre teacher's job and help mentar these kids. That's what i thought i wanted to do. Something clicked for me summer of 20 13.
