Are You in a Dark Night of the Soul?

If your desire for the world has gone up and your desire for god has gone down, that is probably not a dark night. Consider if your ideas about god need to fall away so that the true god can emerge. If you're feeling anxious or angry or afraid because you're not feeling the presence of god, there's nothing wrong with you. God is still here. You are still held. The next great thing will be revealed in due course.
