Do You Know if You're on a High Dose Vitamin D?

In Brazil, an 80 kilogram person needs 160,000 units of vitamin D every day. Here on average, we have 1000 units for 1 kilogram of body weight. And after a couple of years, a minimum of one third, we could almost dose up to 40 or 30,000. We've seen it many, many times that they got more more sensitive to vitamin D. As low as a dose is, the less severe could be the side effects of vitamin D supplementation. That's a very severe or dangerous and another difference to the Brazil way of treating with high doses was that our patients need very often need calcium. In Brazil, they need a very, very sick calcium diet
