After months of dead ends, inactive phone numbers and emails, contemporary is saying that they had no idea where she was. When I finally got in touch with Jenny, she wasn't standoffish or mean or even particularly mad that I'd found her. She told me the whole story. It all began back in 1996 when Jennifer Ringley stumbled upon a new piece of technology at her college bookstore.
