The Great British Empire

The british empire reached its peak a hundred years ago, but it didn't understand that it had reached its peak. After world war one, it became a debtor and owed more money to the united states than it could ever repay. The baton has passed somewhere else, and you all know where. How are we as a nation going to handle the decline of what was a nice ride up in the twentieth century, but isn't fheir for us any more? That's the big issue.
