The Politics of Power and Faith

I was struck even just as you were talking about it. There's this funny way, I think, particularly Christianity in the West gets sandwiched with this and skewered with this idea that it's constantly catering to the politics of power and all of this. And I remember years ago, there's this infamous writings of DT Suzuki, the great Zen master of the 20th century. He basically says, these ambitions are not a contradiction with our Zen beliefs about the unity of all things.
