The Interface for Chemistry Is Really Important
The programmable version of matter is something where it has a continual sort of choreography inside and is where that's specifiable in some external kind of way. I think the interface for biology will be pretty important, he says. One could imagine if you have programmable matter that instead of having a biologically growing house one could arrange an organism to grow in the shape of a house. He also predicts we'll see things like computerized hairbrushes or paperweights soon.
