Could Ron DeSantis Sell Himself as Donald Trump Without the Baggage?
Ron DeSantis raised $200 million for the cycle, which is an astronomical amount of money for gubernatorial candidates to raise. He's quickly becoming at least a red state America, America's governor, in the same way that Rudy Giuliani was America's mayor in the 1990s. I don't think Donald Trump wants to be a kingmaker. I think he wants to be king again. But this is a guy that sees a rematch and he sees a Joe Biden. It's weaker than he was when he lost to him. And he wants back in the game.
