I blame romantic comedies and the New Age movement in the 80s for this idea of soulmates as being like, you know, your romantic partner. That's just not the case. Your soulmate can be anybody because soulmates are not about love. Soulmates are about connecting two souls that vibrate in harmony together. And at the end of the day, it all comes back to square one: You are a singular force within the universe. I would also recommend Phyllis Carrot's Love Spell book, which is her story about how she found love.
