I'm Not 100% Sure That Islamis Parties Will Always Do Well in Elections

Islamism can be achieved without islamis parties, says Litsten. In many countries there's a general desire to have islam playing a prominent role in public life. The problem with secular parties is that they're more fractious and don't have clear ideologies. If you say the largest opposition party shouldn't play a role in government or um, then that's undermining the basic premise of democracy which is being reflective of the electorate.
