Wilkinson: How do you think about the field of studying china's political system from outside of china, in an era where to china will become structurally more difficult? And discussions with actors in china around political topics will likely continue to be sensitive. Do you think this fundamentally shifts how younger scholars like your elf and incoming scholars now doing their ph ds? Is this just a paradime shift of how you'll have to do this work?
