The Connective Tissue of the Universe
Nother's theorem is the connective tissue behind a lot of laws. The ones that come out of Nother's are momentum, energy and angular momentum. These aren't fundamental laws of the universe, but each is a consequence of other properties of the universe. And in particular, they're consequences of symmetries of space.
