Is 1000 Pounds a Day Not a Lot?

You could go to work for 1000 pounds a day, and at the end of the day, you get 170 pounds in your pocket. Hold on, right, that seems crazy. So no one's saying 1000 pounds for a day's work is not a lot of money, but you know, you are highly skilled professional saving lives every day. And I feel really bad by saying that, given the times we're in.
