The Paradox of Labour on Cultural War Stories
There's a sense that the Tories are going to try and push cultural war stories if we're going to use that term I will use that term despite my disliking it. We saw that happen in Australia it wasn't very successful for Scott Morrison but his campaign was very heavily based on cultural war stories, labour one nevertheless. There's a really interesting paradox about this which I want to explore with our guests as well which is that clearly this issue really does these issues really do interest people and engage people and they do matter a great deal to people. How do we explain that paradox of the fact that it doesn't show up in the polling and yet clearly it does engage people a huge amount
