11 years ago, i realized that energy policy is crucial to human flourishing. Energy is the industry that powers every other industry. If energy is abundant, affordable and reliable, everything else is going to get more abundant - for good or bad. And it was frustrating to me that once i knew that energy is so important, i really didn't know what we should do.
