In 2005-2006, only 26% of children with diarrhea received ORS packets. But by 2015-2016, this had risen to 51%. And by 2019-2021, 61% of children began receiving ORs packets. In the meantime, the death count attributed to diarrhea among children under 5 dropped from 2,000 or 12,000 to 55,000 in 2019. Having said that, there's still a long way to bridge that gap.
