Do You Think We Now Have the Smartest Persons That's Ever Lived?

i always find there to be an interesting disconnect d my brain between people now being like, sophisticated and intelligent. And for whatever reason, i view people from like, two thousand years ago as just pretty one dimensional. They were identical, if not more, intellectually in tune. But they're still, like, there's political leanings. Theres all that ship in that way, forever. Very strange to think about.
