We're joined by francis sternley, our assistant commet editor. Francis says there is a strong likelihood that putin will try and declare some sort of cease fire prior to winter. In doing so he would seek to arrange some sort of steel whereby he can keep those areas of the dombas he currently has in zapparisia. There are certain countries in europe that i think would be open to such an offer. And indeed, who knows, maybe even countries we don't expect, if things get incredibly severe. If there was another invasion of ukraine, ther wouldn't be any guarantees from britain wuld be militarily able to stop it.
