One of which is vadriana, another one of which is the adult development psychology of kegan and others. Also the philosophical work of hydeger and fuco and some other figures from the twentieth century. All these things seem to me to be converging on the same understanding from very, very different points of viewthat makes them much more interesting. And in the tradition, they are described as extremes rather than boundaries.
