The Importance of Technology Transfer in Research
The leader of an industrial research lab, i view one of my primary functions is to make sure that things that get done in ambidia research result in improvements to ambidia products. To have effective technology transfer, you really have to make that the goal from day one. I've seen a bunch of projects successfully transferred into product fall short for two reasons: There was some mismatch and it wasn't going to work in the right way.
