The Importance of National Pride in Japan

I think in one sense Japan is kind of unapologetically Japanese. There's not as an incentive or aggressive like drive to go learn English and focus on expanding abroad since their life on Japan is already satisfactory enough for most people. That makes a lot of sense and I think it is very cool that these programs such as Jet is kind of pushing that boundary a bit where they're like hey let's introduce some foreigners"
