The Disadvantages of Public Housing

I would say that there have been decades of federal disinvestment with respect to just dollars. The reason why public housing authorities are looking to these different funding streams and different models is because public housing is not sustainable. If you are waiting for money from the federal government for section nine, you're going to be waiting a very long time. And so what we need to do is to lean into creative solutions. I want to make sure that our residents know that we are listening to them.
