What the Inuit Told Charles Francis Hall About the Franklin Expedition
A businessman named Charles Francis Hall went to the Arctic in the late 1860s. He documented what the Inuit had told him about the Franklin expedition. The men were found with mummified remains and skeletal fragments. Some bone fragments had signs of being cut in such a way that would suggest cannibalism. By 2016, both ships from the Franklin expedition have been recovered.
