Are the Blue Slips a Thing of the Past?

Of President Biden's 58 district court appointments, as of September 2022, 46 have been in blue states. That's almost 80%, seven in purple or swing states and only five in red states. There is just no reason to leave this many vacancies in the face of what is just pure obstructionism, right? Democrats control the Senate. And you need to be able to fill vacancies when you do that. But we'll see what the Supreme Court does, I say with deep seated dread and terror.
