How to Train a Person With a Broken Elbow
I trained with a person that had a bad elbow injury after which she cannot straighten one of her elbows fully during press. It does not bother at all during the training process. I have some older clients who can't reach directly over their head. So they have to stay slightly leaned back at the top. And you know, if that's a problem, what we do between sets is we have them hang from a bar just to stretch the shoulders out into a more vertical position. That sometimes works over time. But if not, you know, what are you going to do? You're not, not press. Why would you ever stop doing it?
