The Fed's Emergency Backstop for Strengthening Reserves
The BTFP, which is the policy that the Fed put in place as a emergency backstop for bolstering reserves, that certainly calmed the storm. But I don't think SVB, that whole reserve loss and the duration mismatch on their balance sheets has gone away - we're just at the start of this. So this is not going to go, especially with that inversion of the curve persisting. We'll probably see some more skeletons coming up in the next few quarters or so.
