Can You Use Noise Cancelling Headphones?

I can't use noise cauncelling because it makes me feel nauseous. I think there're just some people who are built this way. And i i feel a little weird if i have them on my head and there's nothing playing. But i'm am fine once there's music or something coming through the headphones. Or i i do sometimes on an airplane, i will play airplane engine noise through the headphone at a. Ha, whyw you could play any type of white noise, any white noise, but it's ti cold.
