Plants Grow in the Lunar Regulants

Researchers were able to take some real apollo regulit samples that came from three different apollo missions, and grow plants. They used a kind of mustard plant, sort of relative of brockley and cauliflower and cale. And the seeds sprouted just fine in the regalit. But by about the six day mark, they started to get stunted. Their leaves started to turn different colors. Their roots started to stunt. It's probably because there is absolutely no organic material in the lunar Regalit.
