The Power of Communication Around Climate Change
In 2013, when the climate council was established, there were some severe fires in the Blue Mountains. We put a report together at that time saying climate change is driving these fires. And we made it clear that the reason you should talk about it is that just like when you have a cloud crash, you need to speak about the cause. So leading up to the 2019 fires, we brought on Greg Mullins as a climate counselor. He's a former fire and rescue chief, he's had lots of senior positions in that area.
