Aquinas' Proofs for the Existence of God
Aquinas gives his well enough known five proofs for the existence of God. We will dive into a few of them here with some depth, I don't want to over-promise and then under-deliver. The argument from motion goes that if there were not a first thing that moved, there would be a kind of infinite regress of moving things. For Aristotle and Aquinas, this first motion is itself uncaused and is God.
