Are We Going to Take the Mines in the Congo, or China's Economic Statecraft?

Melony: I think there's a pretty dramatic disconnect between what most americans care about with respect to their own security and prosperity, and what this document talks about. Let me just give it struck me as very self refereferential and sort of self important. And yet, every reference to climate change in this document is about how climate change will affect the pentagon... i don't see an appreciation for how the American people are going to react to what they're spelling out here. Ye, you're not gent toget. Any disagreement from from us on the importance of trade and economic statecraft.
