How to Get in and Out of Hygiene and Still Get Your Work Done
For the doctor and the hygienist, you need to have a plan to get in and out of that office operatory in a timely manner. In my mind, anesthesia is one of the greatest time sucks in dentistry because we haven't timed it. For doctors, you also need to make sure that you're seeing what's going on across the office. The value of each of those checks starts to go down precipitously when you throw them in there.
