The Rise of Electronica
I Want You was a song by Marvin Gay, the title track of his 1976 album. Massive Attack themselves were brought in by producer Nelly Hooper and co-credited as artists on the track. The music industry lumped it under the new name Electronica. In short, it was an attempt to manufacture a new new rock.
