Baron Partners: A Good Search for Historical Funds

Bar is a search engine that looks at historical data. It's not proprietary in any way but if you were to do it based on history of 401ks, what's the average or the best return would be a no brainer. Is it going to actually come up with anything useful or is it just kind of browsing the web? I have yet to have good luck with bar so I'm not sure.
