I would keep them in a separate house for starters, maybe right outside my house. That's kind of what Versailles was in France. It accepted as a rule. But that's also what it would happen with court. So people would go and they'd visit court and they're well, I mean, there's different rules to be fair for different castles all around the world. There have been several people that were reclusive. One French king basically refused all contact with people though he didn't have actually going out to different things. He just wouldn't interact with people and he would have these panic attacks thinking that he could be shattered at any given second.
In 1828, after the death of her husband, Queen Ranavalona I. came into power by killing all other potential regents (wives, sons, mothers). At that time, she was between 30 and 40 years old. Ranavalona I. went down in history rather ingloriously and bears the surname “the cruel”. Many Malagasy call her regency tany maizina, in English “years of darkness”. But despite this she is still a rather complex character. One who did amazing and terrible things at the same time. Let us tell her story today
