The State Isn't a Monolith, Right?
The state exists to intervene in class struggle and actually make sure that it results in the victory of the dominant class. It also mediates conflict between segments of the ruling class itselfa we're seeing sort of right now, even in the us. When the ruling class splits, when there are these really fevered moments of inter ruling class a disputes, that does tend to create a space for insurgency from below.
