The Shadow of Grief

Sarah was diagnosed with cancer when she was a year old. She wasn't expected to live past her toddlerhood, maybe, you know, two or three years old. Sarah's father was a social justice attorney in Atlanta at the time. Her family grieved by having a funeral and then going back to work as normal life continued.
