The Maxims of Conversation, Grice's Maxim of Quality?

There's these Maxims of conversation that we have both in oral and written language where basically it's be as succinct as possible. And when you break those Maxims, you do it for a particular reason or else you're not being a great writer. So I think succinctness is key unless you're deliberately not being as short and as quick as possible for a specific reason. Maybe you're trying to make a point out of that.
