David and Absalom in 2 Samuel, Chapter 15
In 2 Samuel, chapter 15, David flees because his son Absalom is back in Jerusalem. He shows that he wants to actively take care of the people of Israel. And again, he says, I'm not going to wait for the battle to be one. Trust God. We have this man who is like us and still trusts in God.
