How Many Flights Are Airlines Operating?
A review of employment numbers and schedule suggests that airlines are up to 20 % less efficient than in 20 19 on a per employee basis. It's just nobody can do what they did in 20 19 with the same, or even a greater, number of human resources. And it's not something you can blame on employee shortages. Most airlines at this point are at their 20 19 staffing levels, or in some cases, above 20 19 staffing level,. So they are operating fewer flights with more employees, which is not a good combination. Junior employees needto figure out how to do things more efficiently. I hate it when it comes down to the human element - Humans are the worstbut it's not
