Is Wall Street Too Short Termist?

Wall Street is far too short termist and only cares ot quarterly earnings. What we need to do is start spending much more time thinking about the long term, rather than just hitting this quarter's earnings. Many smaller industrial manufacturing companies are still getting caught up in these same sorts of games on a regular basis. Are you going to spend your profits on share bybacks and dividends, or are you going to invest them in research and development? Do you go to squeeze your labor force as tight as you can, orAre you going to raise pay and benefits and do up skilling?"
