What if a Huge Majority of Perpetrators of Sexual Violence Are Also Victims?
The desire to categorize into good people or bad people is super problematic. I remember talking to this woman who does work with sexual offenders, and in particular, is trying to change some laws about what defines sexual abuse in children. She said she had a relationship with her grandfather that was very loving and also very inappropriate. And so those words perpetrator and victim kind of merged for me.
