Why Is It So Hard to Study Rats?
There's a social fear, phobia of rats and people don't want to admit when they have them. To do that is very risky. We have to be very careful about where we release rats. And rats are really hardy animals. They're difficult to anesthetize. But yeah, I can just tell you, whenever I tell people rat researcher, it's like, ooh, it, I'm scared. Go away.
