Is There a Way to Get Rid of Visual Jargon?

The first thing i'm doing is stripping out jargon. And that also means visual jargon. So like the symbols and chart forms that carry highly specific information within a specific context, can be really efficient to communicate with others that are influent in that language. A lot of my job just revolves around either knocking down those brick walls and kind of re inventing the visualization. Is there reason why the research community, indativis, hasn't been exploring these broader, merged pieces? Iam, assuming inertia vets i, we were used to. That's just the format we have.
