Unity vs. Unreal Engine: What's the Difference?
I feel like Unity's being driven a lot by being a public company now and their share price. It just seems like there isn't as much pressure for short term profit, which is out of this. Epic Games has a game to ship these features in when they build them. They don't have to play things out on a limb for their investors or for anyone else. I sympathize with Unity as a brand. They've had a pretty incredible role in shaping this industry. And where they choose to play their cards I think will be very interesting coming up.
