Is the Causal Relationship Between Political Attitudes and Discussed Sensitivity?

Sashy: I think it's good to remind people that correlation does not imply causation. Is it possible that being more conservative makes somebody more disgust sensitive? You know, the study that would settle that, i think, is very difficult. We do have stuff on low level precursors of disgust sensitivity - like how much are you able to taste bitter trips and stuff like that. And that like relates to people's political beliefs. Sashy: The stuff that's held up not very well is the stuff about purity,. But that's more on a theoretical level, where just talk about those kind of attitudes differently.
