Rheumatoid Arthritis Program Development and Challenges

This chapter explores the project collaboration with a nonprofit focused on native health to provide arthritis-related workshops, the complexities in healthcare requiring collaborative efforts for rheumatic disease patients, and the challenges faced by rural rheumatologists in managing patient referrals. It also delves into funding obstacles in implementing an education program for rheumatoid arthritis and the success of the rheumatoid arthritis echo program in the Navajo Nation, along with plans to expand educational materials and training efforts.
