You write as a response to the crisis that hit advanced capitalist countries in the 19 seventies. What was the nature of that crisis, and what role did the rise of east asia play in helping to provisionally resolve it? And then what about the resolution made it only provisional? Inthe 19 seventies the advanced capitalist countries, mostly us. And also europe, has swelled and conquered a prolonged crisis. But primarily, the crisis is rooted at a kind of a foreign rate of profit, if you use a maxin language.
