Netflix has seen a lot of chargebacks, which are what happen when you buy something with your credit card. The banks will ding you as a merchant for that sale. If you go above a certain threshold, the banks will actually not accept your payments. "It's like a huge, huge cluster that you don't want to get involved in," he says.
